In short: No data is collected.

POI Toolbox, chdv, and mtu do not collect personal data.

POI Toolbox uses your location only to show it on the map or, at your request, to record your route with the GPS tracker. When paused, the GPS tracker saves its recording to a file on your device. There is no automatic iCloud upload, which could reveal your start and stop locations. In other words: If you reset the GPS tracker without saving the recording, it is gone. And gone really means gone.

POI Toolbox, chdv, and mtu do not share any data with other services. They make no attempt to track users or analyze their actions in the app, whether through ad trackers or 'black magic'.

Data you enter (POIs, folders, tags, log entries, names, ...) is stored in unencrypted files that you can view in the app's iCloud Drive folder. This lets you view, edit, back up, export, and restore the data.

WARNING:

Even though you can access these files, edit the data only through the app. Even if you are 100% sure you know what you are doing, a small mistake could result in complete data loss.

To be absolutely clear: Gone means gone!
