Getting started is easy: Add a 'profile' for a new device and check its battery level once while it is charging. chdv uses this data to predict future battery charging times. More experienced users can also enter the battery capacity and charger power to avoid interruptions and follow-up questions.
chdv creates reminders for charging sessions and, if you like, even HomeKit automations to switch your smart plugs on and off automatically. This lets you use cheaper off-peak electricity while you sleep or power from your solar panels during the day.
